Weekly Recap + Miles


The schedule had 800 repeats. Of course, it was very icey, so this workout was pushed (yet again) to the treadmill.

AM Workout: (6 Miles)
1.5 Mile Warm-Up
5x 800m @ 6:39 + 400m @ 8:19
1x400m @ 6:30
Cool Down

Killed it, but it was NOT easy

PM Workout:

2 Mile Recovery + Kettle bell strengthening and core

I heart two-a-days


Followed by an FUN evening at the hair salon, with my favorite hairdresser, girlfriend!

Yes… the is the color. Intense.

The result:

We’ve been trying to get a rose gold color in my hair for months… though I’ve been wanting pink! So we went very bold, but it’s fading to a gorgeous rose gold color. I’m obsessed! And the perfect hue for Valentine’s Day and a fun anniversary celebration!


Legs were heavy from Wednesday, so recovered with 40 minutes on the Spin bike with an intense interval workout with core work for an active recovery.


Spent the evening in PT… working on some stability, it’s not getting easier, but I’m still hopeful.


10 degrees, 20 degree wind chills…… Let’s run! Easy 5 (but extremely hard due to the wind) miles with Des in the park. Took everything but so happy to get outside. My race tomorrow is going to take everything out of me. Followed by Barre.

Can’t wait to celebrate Valentine’s Day and watch the trials this weekend! What are your plans?
